Easy Peasy Psychic Technique
Thursday, December 21, 2006 14:26I was explaining to a fellow psychic one of the ways that I use to organize the information I get into a way that is reading friendly. She dug it so I thought someone else might find it useful as well.
It is my belief that we are all ‘psychic’. I really hate the word psychic. It brings to mind all sorts of images, most of which involve fraud. We all get impressions or have intuition or have prophetic dreams now and then. That is being psychic. That intuition, prophetic dreaming, gut instinct or impression is probably a tiny piece of a long line of constant impressions, intuition, gut instinct or prophetic dreams. In a ‘normal person’, it is only every so often that it breaks the surface and gets to the forefront of your concious mind long enough to be noticed.
There is nothing inherantly magickal about being psychic. There is nothing evil or maligned about it. It’s a natural process that some people are afraid of and sometimes takes practice to do it right… like sex. :)
However, that said, there are people whos gifts are either too obvious for them to ignore or who make it a goal of their life to work with those gifts. These people are what are commonly referred to as ‘psychic’. These people make it a habit to look for that stream of sense and intentionally bring it to the forefront of their minds.
This is a technique that anyone can use and would probably be good for training your mind to learn to pinpoint that ‘other stream’ of non-physical knowledge more readily.
- Divide every day life into categories that make sense to you. Money, relationships, home, health and family are good ones to start off with. Add or take away any that make sense to you.
- Find a
victimsubject. Glance over them from top to bottom. Look around them - about 6 inches away from their body. You aren’t looking for anything in particular. Trust that your ‘psychic senses’ will pick up what they should. - Call to mind one of your life categories. Re-scan the person. This time, ‘listen’ to your thought process. What stray thoughts, images, sounds, feelings or impressions pop into your head? They might not make any sense at all. ‘Grab’ them anyways. So for instance, if I scan my subject for the heading ‘money’, I get the impression of a tug of war between large entities that are spread far out. At this point, that is nonsensical. I’m still grabbin’ it. You might get something as simple as the color red.
- Try One of the following techniques to get more information about that stray thought :
- Zone out. You can do this by staring off into space or closing your eyes. My zone out place is just above and behind the person I’m reading. Then call to mind that stray thought that you grabbed. Ask the question ‘What does [stray thought] have to do with [category] for this person?’ ‘Listen for an answer. It will come in a similar way as the first impression did. It will be a stray image, sound, thought or impression that probably feels fleeting.
- Scan the person again from head to toe, including the space around them holding that impression and category in your mind and listen for associated information.
- Try on possible solutions for the question ‘What does [stray thought] have to do with [category] for this person?’ in your mind. For instance, in my example, I got the tug of war image. To me, that means a struggle. With large entities spread far apart all struggling for the same money. To test that, I say in my mind ‘There are large entities in your life struggling for a piece of what money there is’. When I say it, it will either feel right or pieces of it will feel wrong. In which case, I should look for a further explanation for the incorrect piece.
Continue until you have covered all of the important life categories that seem to apply.
I use this technique once the really big issues that jump out right away have been covered. I use parts of it when I’ve gotten a bit of information that I don’t know how to use. It gets easier and goes quicker once you’ve done it a few times.
Remember, that just because the person doesnt think that the information applies doesnt mean that they are right. :) If they say they can’t identify with something, re-test it in your head to make sure it fits. It it fits, you might be able to dig and find additional information that makes it fit better - or it might be that you are both seeing different aspects of the same issue. Although psychics see things in situations that we couldn’t reasonably physically know, we are still subject to our own point of perception.
Try it on a friend and see how it goes.
