Warhammer Online Head Start Tomorrow

Saturday, September 13, 2008 14:29 No Comments

Mythic Entertainment’s Warhammer Online goes live for head start folks tomorrow! Yay for being able to actually KEEP the character I play after tomorrow! :)

So far, I’ve really enjoyed the game. I was telling Ryan the other day that there is very little grinding for experience. There are always new quests to do and should I get sick of killing regular ole’ mobs, there is RvR or there are public quests always going on.

I’m a solo player and so far, everything has been really balanced in the way of experience gained and being required to kill stuff I can handle. I made my first gold within a few hours of play, which for me, is good. I did have some help from Penns Warhammer Leveling Guide and Ashling’s Leveling Guides which were the first guides out, really.

Warhammer Online (Age of Reckoning) Game and Guides Review

This weekend, Mythic Entertainment starts to open it’s servers for Warhammer Online Age of Reckoning - first with limited, early play and finally next week with open play. I had the opportunity to participate in the closed beta of Warhammer Online. Aside from the understandable issues that are normal in a beta, I was really impressed with the overall game.

Playing EQII

I’ve been escaping into games during my play time lately. It’s refreshing to HAVE play time, first of all. But it’s nice to play now and again. I usually play for a few weeks.. maybe months. Then I get sick of it. :) All of my characters are on Permafrost. My three main toons are Saraiah, Seersha and Daea. If you play, look me up.

Gaming Couples

Today is the big EQII delivery date. Ryan is going to pick ours up on lunch. Like I said, I’m excited. It’s going to be a phat game and I’m in love with my character choice. I, however, am preparing for the frenzy. New game=adjusting emotional needs.

One thing I love about our relationship is that he can get caught up in a game for a while and I can get caught up in something else - and we have our space. We still love each other, we’re still there for each other.. we just.. have ‘me’ time. :) I like to game. I really dig D&Ryan type fantasy roll play. I, however, have always wanted or expected a little more character/plot freedom than most games have allowed. Morrowind was the first computer based game I REALLY got into because although there was a main plot, you had the freedom…
