Beyond the Surface

Being psychic is a double edged sword.

The Pros :

• I know what is going to happen in most situations before it happens.
• People pay money to talk to me because I know what is going to happen in most situations before it happens.
• I’m a great friend to have because I talk freely and openly about what is going to happen because I know what is going to happen in most situations before it happens.

The Cons :

• I have friends who pump me for information a lot because I’m their friend and because I know what is going to happen in most situations before it happens.
• I have friends who will go on about how psychic I am and then when I say something they don’t want to hear (because I know what is going to happen in most situations before it happens) they stick their fingers knuckle deep in their proverbial ears and yell LALALALALALALALALA at me. And then I bitch about how ‘no one EVER wants to listen to me’. EVAR.
• I know what is going to happen in most situations before it happens. If they didn’t listen the first time, it was because they didn’t want that reality and when that reality happens, it’s usually insult enough. So saying ‘I told you so’ is generally frowned upon. In the psychic community. Of psychics. The community. But damn… sometimes, they deserve to hear it. I. TOLD. YOU. SO.
